Feng Shui for Business

 

A delightful thing happened on Lunar New Year's Day when I received a good omen in the form of a very special parcel. The night before my husband and I had been welcoming the Wealth Gods into our home and I was saying prayers and setting intentions for the beginning of my Feng Shui online business for 2008.  In my parcel was Alexandria Brown's "Online Success Blueprint Workshop" in a box!  I promptly placed it on the altar in our wealth corner.

Feng Shui and Ikea

The day after my silent retreat ended, I went out to Portland’s new Ikea. WOW—talk about yin and yang experiences! I had great fun—found some great chi enhancers in bright lights and healthy green plants as well as some yummy curtains for our bedroom.

Ikea Good Feng Shui:

*Brightly colored banners fluttering in the wind

*Curving paths inside the store

*Organizational systems to help with clutter control

*Auspicious red colored things

*Live plants

*Lights

*Five elements in colors and textures

*Desks with curves, especially on the front

*High-back solid chairs for business owners

*Successful prosperity chi

Be careful of the not-so-good-Feng Shi of:

*Some of their mirrors (especially the wavy ones or mirrors in pieces that reflect your body sliced up)

*Any headboard that’s not solid wood (no slats as chi escapes)

*Sharp-cornered furniture

*Unstable desks with no front on them for business owners

*Confusion on how to get from highway to the store
