The fire of incandescence and luminosity is here! In nature as well as Feng Shui, the fire element is related to the season of summer when yang energies are at their greatest with both the heat and long sun-lit hours as well as the mid-day hours when the sun is at it’s zenith (and a great time for performing yang Feng Shui cures, by the way, from 11am-1pm!).
Just like the flames of a fire, this particular chi is full of movement, joyful expansion, activity, passion and ecstatic bliss. We also see it burning bright in the Fame and Recognition gua (Li) of your home and business.
The fire element gifts you with dynamic enthusiasm, desire and passion as well as incredible joy, laughter and love. This is a GREAT time of year to take action on all of those dreams and goals; travel; focus sales, advertising and public relations; as well as have a great love affair! A person with a healthy fire element will feel happy, compassionate, light and playful.
As well as being related to the metaphoric heart, it also governs the physical heart and cardiovascular system. In human chi, we see fire displayed when someone is "on fire" or "burnt-out." Too much or too little fire can cause sweating, dryness, redness, anxiety, insomnia, volatility, absent-mindedness, dizziness, loss of sexual desire or even heart palpitations.

Spring and wood have relationship to the liver and gallbladder meridians in Chinese medicine and so it’s a natural time for CLEANSING to help bring the free flow of “chi” (or “qi”) in the body, harmony to our emotions and preventing stagnation. In your home or business you can enhance the Family and Ancestors (“Zhen” or “Jen”) area of the Bagua (the middle left side of your room or building as you stand in the doorway facing inward) with healthy green plants, green or clear Swarovski crystal spheres and green paint or décor. 9 Tips for Spring Feng Shui
1. Out with the clutter! Before you begin, turn on all the lights, open all the windows, spray some orange essential oils and put on some uplifting music. Clear all stagnant chi (inside and out) of your home, office, car, purse, wallet, briefcase, voice-mail, email, computer files, check-book--everything.
2. Then deep clean with aromatherapy products such as Mrs. Meyers and Method.
3. Increase the light by washing all of your windows and mirrors. Dust your light bulbs and replce with the highest wattage possible. Treat yourself to new lampshapes if necessary. You can also hang Swarovski leaded crystal spheres in your wondows. (contact me if you need some)
4. Bring in a gentle breeze of precious new chi by opening all of the doors and wondows each day for at least 10 minutes. Burn sandalwood incense or chen pi. (let me know if you want some)
5. Add lots of plants, indoors and out.
6. Add the color green into your life with clothing, paint and decor.
7. Invite fresh life-force with wind-chimes and bird-feeders hung from the rafters around your home.
8. Change out the water in your fountains and wash your crystal spheres overnight in a salt water bath (rinse in the morning under cold running water).
9. Make a list of everything that drains your life force: unfinished projects or errands, high-maintenance people, old emotions, unhelpful habits, negative thoughts, clutter in your environment (inside or out), toxins, electro-magnetic frequencies, debts, lack of sleep, poor time management, too-full calendars, excessive noice, distactions and so on...
Now, choose your top 3 energy drains you'd get the most relief from ending. Schedule time on your calendar and take care of them. Move on the the next 3 and keep going until you are FREE!
