Alright ladies, if I did a surprise Feng Shui reconnaissance mission and checked out your purse, what would I find?!
A weary handbag with tired chi? Heavy with clutter? Resting on the powder room floor?
Or would I find a purse you absolutely loved, totally organized, easy to carry and always kept off the floor to show respect for your money?
In this time of economic anxiety, it’s a perfect opportunity to up-level your purse to be more attractive to financial opportunities.
I suggest the classic Chinese “Money Bag” shape (wider bottom and narrower top) to keep your money safe and accruing. A fabulous bold red color attracts attention as well as Good Luck (I’ve actually gotten a job from a woman ogling over my purse!) Other Feng Shui colors to consider for both your purse and wallet would include black, the color associated with your career; a gold and red purse for great prosperous chi; or green for new financial beginnings.
Ideally, you should carry cash and enhance your money chi by having a new uncirculated bill inside of a Lucky Red Envelope which is never spent but used to magnetize more cash. Also, you should have Three Coins on Red Ribbon kept next to your cash as well as taped behind your deposit slips in your checkbook.
Think about it--how you show respect and care for your money is how money will respect you.
And most happily, you can now use Feng Shui as your official excuse to shop for a new purse and wallet!
