I recently learned a new word, “habuku”, a Japanese word meaning to simplify, economize and to eliminate the superfluous. For me, every season of the year calls to me to do and accumulate less; to simplify my life and business. And that leaves me more space and spaciousness—no need to fill it with something else!
This newest 9 Day Feng Shui Challenge invites you to simplify and eliminate one physical, emotional or mental thing, situation or habit each day over the next 9 days—streamlining our environment and lives.
I’m sharing mine below and would love to hear what you’re going to do—let’s inspire and lift each other up and create a more “habuku” lifestyle!
Day 1: Clear out master closet
Day 2: Eat more simple suppers—salad with protein
Day 3: Get chiropractic adjustment
Day 4: Practice less resistance to what is
Day 5: Day of silence
Day 6: Tidy up garage
Day 7: Set up another system for my business
Day 8: Practice not worrying about anything
Day 9: Be vigilant with my ‘to do’ list—what can be deleted, eliminated, reduced
Alright, now what are YOURS?
